DISASTER RELIEF FUND DISTRIBUTION POLICY
 
 
           
            The Disaster Relief Fund is available to residents of the Town of Rensselaerville and members of the Rensselaerville Presbyterian Church.
 
            Disaster Relief Fund distributions will be made only in cases of disaster. Disaster means a fire or an Act of God (e.g. flood, tornado, blizzard, hurricane, earthquake) that renders the applicant’s home unlivable for at least 24 hours.
 
            An individual person will receive a base amount not to exceed $500. An additional $100 may be given for each family member living in the same house up to a total of $800. Actual amounts will be determined based on the balance in the fund at the time of the disaster and the number of applications for assistance.
 
            Applicants should complete the application form and email to
